Mercenary contracts are calculated depending on your influence, so the more that you have the more gold you earn and influence you consume. Seeing that you are in negative influence (I suppose you attacked someone you were at peace with and forced war between them and your faction) it costs you money and gives you influence until you get back to positive
So I let Radagos go at the end of the bandit raid for the little brother sister in the campaign, and Radagos said he might go into mercenary work. Can I hire him and if so, where can I find him? To begin with, you will not be able to become a mercenary in Mount and Blade: Bannerlord. The minimum clan level you need to become a mercenary is level 1.
